About DPP

Developing Peak Performers is a Saint Louis based program that operates under our nonprofit, Foundation For Success. DPP was created with a mission to ensure that every young athlete, regardless of financial circumstances, has access to high-level basketball training, mentorship, and life skills programming.

Founded by 13-year NBA Veteran, Larry Hughes, DPP reflects a deep commitment to youth development through sport. As an extension of Larry Hughes Basketball Academy, DPP opens the door for underserved athletes to train, grow, and compete in a safe nurturing environment—where discipline, character, and confidence are built alongside basketball skills.

Through community partnerships, DPP provides scholarships and subsidized access to LHBA programs including camps, leagues, clinics, and personal development workshops.
